The Imperial Japanese Navy Aircraft Carrier Taiho. Operation Anubis have built this light and fast attack carrier. Based on the Shokaku class but with improvements from leasons learnt this carrier had a large air group of 72 aircraft and a distinctive island including funnel angled away from the flight deck. An M2A1 battery awaiting a target.
The Japanese B5N 'Kate' torpedo bomber is new to BG42 for 1.0. As can be seen from the pictures, the Kate is vunerable to enemy aircraft unless a A6M2 Zero (DICE model) is on-hand to give cover. Both these planes have been given a coat of green paint from later in the war. A battery of Nebelwerfers like these provide rapid fire shells across a huge area giving great cover to advancing troops.

In keeping with on of the big theme for 1.0 is the reskinning of a whole host of vehicles. These are some those new skins (from left to right) shown on the German Panther G, Kubelwagon and King Tiger.

German sIG33 150mm howitzers lined up and ready to fire.
