The Germans are loosing ground but fierce fighting through the streets of the city shows they have not yet given up! As a Russian can you break the enemy once and for all or will you take to the streets as a German and take back your capital?

BOT ATTACK! Operation Mercury Gets Bots
That's right we're revisiting some of our maps and Operation Mercury has had the treatment. Gurki has given Huskerpat's map revised ground textures and for all you co-oppers Careybear has been busy bot-mapping so you can also enjoy the multiplayer madness (many thanks Careybear).

For those of you that don't know Operation Mercury, this was the German operation to take Crete from Greek, British and New Zealand troops. The operation opened with the paradropping of thousands of troops into the blazing guns of the fore-warned defenders.
In this BattleGroup42 map the German troops have to force their way from their landing zones to take and hold the airfield which is key to the future of the operation. The defenders have to hold out to the last, the loss of the airfield will mean the loss of the whole island of Crete!

These are some teaser shots and there are more here : Maps WIP 14/05/04.
